Todd W. Brand

Todd William Brand, 60, of Wharton, died Friday, Sept. 9, 2022, at OSU Wexner Medical Center. He was born March 22, 1962, in Lynn, Massachusetts, to the late Robert and Ilene (Sargent) Brand Sr. He married Vicky L. Boose on Jan. 3, 1983, at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico, and she survives near Wharton. Also surviving are his daughters, Brenda (Aaron) Keefe of Centerville and Jennifer Brand of Newarkl grandchildren, Carter Brand, Vanessa Keefe, and Claira Keefe; and siblings, Robert (Sarah) Brand Jr. of North Carolina, Gregory (Debbie) Brand of Georgia, Melissa (William) Enslen of Florida, and and Jeffrey (Rose) Brand of Florida.

Todd graduated from Swampscott High School in 1980 and has an associate degree from Owens Technical College. He was a veteran of U.S. Air Force. While serving, he was a law enforcement specialist on base.

Todd retired from Cooper Tire and Rubber in 1998, was owner of Brand Inspections, Findlay, and member of The United Steel Workers.

He was a Wharton youth sports coach with is wife for many years. Todd enjoyed golfing, traveling, and visiting family. Todd loved taking long walks in the woods with his grandson and his dog. He cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren and family.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022, at Clark Shields Funeral Home with Pastor Rex Roth officiating. Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Full military graveside rites will be conducted at Wharton Richland Union Cemetery at a later date.
