Timothy Bolin Obituary
Timothy J. "Tim" Bolin, 69, of Fostoria, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 19, 1954, to James and Patricia (Campbell) Bolin. Tim graduated from Arcadia High School. He was a proud member of U.S. Army. Tim married Sallie Poe on Aug. 7, 2013. They were divorced, but remained very close.
Tim was a member of Connections Church, VFW in Findlay, Amvets in Fostoria, and lifetime member of DAV in Findlay. He was an avid pool player, especially at Miss Cue in Findlay and Smokehouse in Fostoria. Tim was also a lifelong Cleveland Indians/Guardians fan and enjoyed watching Ohio State, Cleveland Browns, and Sunday NASCAR.
Left behind to cherish Tim's memory are his significant other, Sallie Poe-Bolin; stepchildren, Harmonie Poe and Markus Gossard; grandchildren, Brooklyn Blackburn, John Ritter, and Shane Bays Jr.; five great-grandchildren; sister, Susan DeWald; nieces, Sara Roberts and Carrie DeWald; great-nieces and great-nephews, Anderson Roberts, Jadalyne Jay, Gavin DeWald, and Emma DeWald; special friends, Sandy Branham and Liz Reinhart; and favorite pet, "Homer."
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Mike Bolin.
Visitation for friends and family will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 27, 2024, until the time of Tim's funeral at 12 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, 419-422-1500. Pastor Jim Klausing will preside. Hancock County Veterans Memorial Squad will perform full military rites at the conclusion of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Tim's name can be made to Heartland Hospice, 907 W. State St. A, Fremont, Ohio, 43420.
