Thomas E. "Buck" Heuerman

Thomas E. "Buck" Heuerman, 73, of Findlay, died at 5:36 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024, at Bridge Hospice in Findlay.

He was born Nov. 20, 1950, in Lima, to Virgil C. "Bub" and Patricia A. (Roof) Heuerman. He married Mary Kristine Knueven on March 10, 1973, and she survives in Findlay.

Buck's other survivors include three children, Tonya (Nick) Lamb of Rudolph, John Heuerman of Findlay, and Amy (Randy) Massie of Alvada; 10 grandchildren, Haley Davis, Chloe Lamb, Deane Lamb, Phoenix Heuerman, John Heuerman Jr., Maxwell Heuerman, Wyatt Heuerman, Jax Heuerman, Paige Massie, and Erika Massie; and five siblings, Gerald (Sandra) Heuerman of Miller City, Eugene (Terry Ann) Heuerman of Cloverdale, Jane (Jerry) Niese of Miller City, Joan (Rick) Romer of Glandorf, and Jim (Michelle) Heuerman of Miller City.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael "Pee Wee" Heuerman; and three siblings, Mary Lou Heuerman, Michael Lee Heuerman, and Melvin Heuerman.

Buck was a truck driver and retired in 2003. He was a 1969 graduate of Ottawa-Glandorf High School and U.S. Army veteran, serving during Vietnam. He was a member of Carey Conservation Club, collected Farmall Tractors, and enjoyed fishing, sudoku, and watching Gunsmoke.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 19, 2024, at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.

Memorial donations may be made to Humane Society & SPCA of Hancock County, 4550 Fostoria Ave., Findlay, Ohio, 45840.
