Thomas Bryan Obituary

Thomas Michael Bryan

Thomas Michael "Tom" Bryan, 80, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2024, at St. Luke's South Hospital in Overland Park, Kansas.

He was born May 8, 1944, to John and Dorothy Bryan of Leipsic. He married Ann Kellerman, who survives him.

Tom is also survived by his children, Thomas Michael (Suzy) Bryan II of Billings, Montana, and Lisa Anne Bryan of Salem, Oregon; grandchildren, Connor Thomas Bryan and Taylor Eileen Bryan; brothers, Ed Bryan, Don Bryan, Fred (Carolyn) Bryan, and Mark (Judy) Bryan, all of Leipsic; and sisters, Mary (Mike) Roeder of Fairfield, Carol (Paul) Chamberlin of Leipsic, and Elizabeth (Scott) Gillan of Findlay.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Dorothy Bryan; and brother, John Wayne Bryan.

Tom was a 1962 graduate of Leipsic High School. After graduation, he proudly served his country in U.S. Navy, stationed on the naval ship, the USS Constellation. Tom spent most of his life in Pocatello, Idaho. He excelled for over 30 years in sales management and marketing for Farmers Insurance. But his enjoyment came from hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors. He was an avid gardener and loved to cook. He and his wife, Ann, enjoyed many ocean cruises together, as Tom loved being near and on the ocean.

The immediate family will conduct a private memorial for Tom in Overland Park, Kansas.

I lived with my brother Tom in California for a short time when I got back from Viet Nam. Later I went to work with him for Western & Southern Insurance. I sure learned a lot from him about insurance and life.
