Tami Lu Murphy

Tami Lu Murphy, 64, of Findlay, passed away Monday, Nov. 18, 2024, at Serenity Springs Senior Living in Arlington. She was born in Columbus to the late Rollie and Ruth (Glaze) Hahn.

Tami is survived by her sons, Austin Cornette and Michael "Fred" Murphy; her siblings, Vicki Leatherman, Randy Davenport, Denace Davenport, Melanie Williams and Jacklyn Deuble; numerous nieces and nephews; and her significant other, Mark Huff.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Davenport.

Tami was a 1978 graduate of Findlay High School. She was a free-spirit that loved life and was a fighter, overcoming many health complications throughout her life. She loved attending rock concerts and her son's sporting events. She was a long-time volunteer with the Special Olympics. She enjoyed spending time with her sons and their dogs: Louie James, Oli, and Daisy Jo. In her free time, she enjoyed watching game shows, with Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, and Family Feud being some of her favorites, watching her favorite movies, Dirty Dancing and Ghost, and completing crossword puzzles.

Visitation for Tami will be from 12 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, 205 W. Sandusky Street, Findlay, Ohio, 45840. A private burial will occur at Knollcrest Cemetery, Arcadia, at a later date.
