Susan Gill Obituary
Susan June Gill, 75, of Whitehouse, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2024, following a long, brave battle with cancer.
She was born Nov. 20, 1948, in Bluffton, to Carl and Donna June (Foltz) Cole, who preceded her in death. She married Bobby G. Gill on Sept. 6, 1970, and he preceded her in death.
Susan loved flowers and gardening and her flower beds are a testament to her green thumb. She enjoyed scrapbooking with her friends. She was a member of Findlay First Church of the Nazarene where she was especially blessed to be involved with the Mending Hearts group. Susan retired from Good Samaritan Society in Arlington, where she worked as the HUD manager for 15 years. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and great-grandson.
She is survived by her children, Christina (Tony) Draper and Andrew Gill; daughter-in-law, Abigail Gill; grandchildren, Eric (Leah) Draper, Megan (Landon) McGill, Nathan (Ava) Draper, Olivia Draper, Austin (Erin) Gill, Avery Gill, and Azuriah Gill; great-grandson, Cameron McGill; and brother. Robert (Nancy) Cole.
Susan's funeral will be 12 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Peinert-Dunn Funeral Home, 6603 Providence St., Whitehouse, Ohio, 43571. Visitation will be 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be private at Riverview Cemetery, Mt. Blanchard.
Memorial contributions may be given in her memory to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or New Life Alliance Church in Waterville.
