Shirley Dodge Obituary
Shirley J. Dodge, 90, of rural Williamstown, passed away Monday, May 29, 2023, at VanCrest of Ada.
She was born Oct. 12, 1932, Van Buren Twp., Hancock County, to Dale and Inez (Hindall) Steinman. She married Howard E. Dodge on June 24, 1950, and he preceded her in death March 15, 2010.
She is survived by three children, Gary W. (Charlotte) Dodge of rural Forest, Linda S. (Michael) Skiver of rural Harrod, and Brad O. (Carolyn) Dodge of rural Williamstown; sister, Dianna (Ray) Starr of rural Forest; grandchildren, Jennifer (Dodge) Wood, Deven Reigle, Joshua Dodge, Brandon Skiver, Nicole Skiver, Brandon Dodge, and Breanne (Dodge) Jackson; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and two grandchildren, Melissa Reigle and Ethan Dodge.
She was a 1950 graduate of Dola High School and worked as a postal worker, retiring in 1984. She was a member of Bible Fellowship Church and the Gideon's Axillary. She was an avid quilter, pie-maker for the Williamstown Restaurant, and co-owner of Wood-N-Lace Craft Shop. She was an amazing cook.
Visitation will be 1-5 p.m. Saturday, June 3, 2023, at CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Arlington. Shirley's funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday, June 4, 2023, at Bible Fellowship Church, Arlington, with Pastor Jerry Kellogg officiating. Burial will follow at Eagle Creek Cemetery.
Memorials can be made to Bible Fellowship Church or the Gideon's in her memory.

Sorry to hear about your mom. I tuned her piano for many years and spent many hours bowhunting she and your dad's woods over many years. Your mom and dad were great people.
