Scott Morrison Obituary
Scott Denton Morrison II of Findlay passed away peacefully Monday, July 1, 2024, at his home.
He is survived by his siblings, Brady Morrison of Findlay, Hethyre Tesnow of Arcadia, and Matthew Morrison of Grants Pass, Oregon; and three nieces and a nephew, Isabella Morrison of Milpitas, California, Kelsey Morrison of Findlay, Bailey Benner of Bowling Green, and Joey Rider of Bowling Green.
Scott was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Rosalie Ann Morrison; and father, Scott D. Morrison I.
Scott lived with autism and other developmental disabilities and resided with Blanchard Valley Residential Services, Inc. for nearly 30 years. Scott's family extends our deepest gratitude to BVRSI for their many years of service to Scott. Scott spent the last years of his life as the king of his castle enjoying soap operas, game shows, participating in Miracle League baseball, playing his Speak & Spell, singing jingles from 1980s television commercials such as Meow Mix Cat Food and Crave Cat Food, and having books read to him like Where the Wild Things Are and Lord and Lady Bug. Scott was an avid lover of Doritos, Pepsi, McDonald's, Looney Tunes cartoons, the television show CHiPs, and all things broadcasted on CBS like college basketball and golf.
Godspeed in the after life Scotty D, free from your disability and with your mother enjoying chocolate chip cookies.
A special thanks to his caregivers, Sue Johnson and Jolene Minich.
Visitation will be 12 p.m. Friday, July 19, 2024, until the time of Scott's funeral at 1 p.m. at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. Private interment will follow at McComb Union Cemetery.
