Sandra Baumlein Obituary
Sandra Jean (Staadt) Baumlein, 75, of Findlay, passed away Monday, June 27, 2023, at StoryPoint Senior Living, Waterville.
She was born Oct. 22, 1947, in Findlay, to Vernon W. and Marilyn J. (Farison) Staadt, who preceded her in death.
Sandra was a graduate of Findlay High School. She married Jerry L. Baumlein on March 3, 1979, and he preceded her in death in 2007. Sandra worked as a nurse's aide for the former Winebrenner Village and then Birchaven Village for 34 years. Sandra was well-loved, had a great sense of humor, and was always the life of the party! She was always super positive and sociable. She enjoyed traveling as often as possible and enjoyed collecting porcelain dolls and stuffed animals.
Sandra is survived by her daughter, Christy (Bret Owen) Saldana of Toledo; three stepgrandsons, Braeden, Gavin, and Colton Owen, all of Toledo; and longtime partner, Tom Schubert of Findlay.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 1, 2023, until the time of Sandra's funeral at 12 p.m. at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, 205 W. Sandusky Street, Findlay. Burial will follow at Hueston Cemetery, Forest.
Memorial contributions may be shared with Alzheimer's Association, 480 W. Dussel Dr. #140, Maumee, Ohio, 43537.

Sandy brought so much joy, love, and laughter not only to my father Tom Schubert, but also to our whole family. She always had a smile on her face and brought laughs and happiness to us all. My deepest prayers of comfort to her daughter and entire family. Thank you for sharing her with us.

To know Sandy was to love her. Fun to be with and fun to be around. She loved kids and animals. Really good Christian. Sorely missed but great for heaven.
