Ronald Risner Obituary
Ronald was born May 22, 1945, in Carey, to Clay and Polly (Puckett) Risner. Ron attended school in Carey and graduated from Vanlue High School in 1964.
After graduating, Ron enlisted in U.S. Army and stationed in Germany. While enlisted, Ron was a large engine mechanic. Ron worked for The Fostoria Foundry and later retired from The Chrysler Corporation in Toledo. Ron loved to raise and breed coon dogs and had a kennel in West Independence.
Ron is survived by his siblings, James (Rebecca) Risner, Jack (Irene) Risner, and Janice Hindall; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Helen Risner, Josephine Risner, Ellis Risner, Debra Winter, Janie Risner, Mary Ann Allison, Alvin Risner, Judy Cramner, and Faye Altman; and former wife, Theresa Risner.
Graveside services will be 12 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024, at Spring Grove Cemetery, Carey.
