Ronald Lease Obituary
Ronald A. "Zoobie" Lease, 69, of Mt. Blanchard, died at his residence Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2024. He was born Feb. 6, 1955, in Findlay, the son of the late Gerald and Donna Belle (Arnold) Lease. He married Tammy (Schaade) Nash, and they later divorced but remained good friends.
Survivors include his son, Riley E. Lease, of Columbus, and daughter, Taryn R. Lease, of Findlay; his brother, Dennis (Susan) Lease, of Bixby, Oklahoma; his nieces, Aly and Amanda Lease; and a dear cousin, Larry (Karen) Lease, of Mt. Blanchard.
Ron was formerly employed at Whirlpool Factory, Findlay, for 30 years, farmed, and attended Mt. Blanchard United Methodist Church. He enjoyed watching The Ohio State Buckeyes, as well as Detroit Lions and Tigers. Ron loved the outdoors, bird watching, science, and nature. He was a devoted family man and was good friend to many. Ron was a natural teacher and always had a desire to learn. With his free spirit, contagious smile, and quick wit, he could always brighten a room.
A visitation will be from 11-1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2024, at CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Arlington. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Brett Kelly officiating.
Memorial contributions may be directed towards a charity of the donor's choice.

My memories of Zoob are from when I was a little girl but he was such a fun guy! His parents were very special to me too. I'm so sorry for your loss Riley and Taryn.
