Ron was born August 14, 1939, and Louise was born May 6, 1940. They were united in marriage December 13, 1960, and recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. Ron was a 1957 graduate of Hardin-Northern High School and retired from Cooper Tire and Rubber Company, where he was a pilot for many years. Louise graduated from Ada High School, class of 1958 and worked as a teacher for Findlay City Schools, retiring after many years.

They are survived by their son, Frank Gossard of Dola. Ron is survived by brothers, Tom and Jim (Karen-deceased) Gossard, both of Dunkirk; sisters, Connie (Gary) Price of Hudson, Ohio; Sue Ann (Frank) Flak of Ada; and Kathy (Tom) Elsasser of Ada.
