Roger received an Associates Degree in Computer Science from Owens Tech later in life. Roger was the office manager at Hyway Concrete Pipe Company for several years. He then held several sales and driving jobs, later retiring from Kuss Co. as a company driver for expedited deliveries.

One of their favorite places to be was sipping coffee on the deck at Hilton Head. Roger had a tremendous love and knowledge of history, specifically the Civil War era, Putnam County, and his family heritage.

Roger was a faithful member of St. Marks United Methodist Church in Findlay attending Sunday service until the end. He was a proud, lifetime (52 years) member of the Findlay Elks. He attended the Dale Carnegie Course, "How to Win Friends and Influence People."

The family would like to thank Briar Hill Assisted Living in N. Baltimore and Blanchard Valley Hospital for the excellent care given to their father.
