Roger Bender Obituary
Roger E. Bender, 81, of Findlay, passed away at his residence Saturday, December 20, 2025. He was born in Findlay, February 8, 1944, the son of Herbert E. and Mary Almina (Hare) Bender.
Survivors include his sisters, Judith Hutton of Perrysburg and Mary (Rob) Turner of Cincinnati.
Preceding him in death were his parents, his brother, Kenny Bender; and a sister, Cheryl Foltz.
Roger was employed at the former RCA, Harris, and Intersil plant in Findlay for over 25 years. He was active in various bowling leagues in Findlay and was a devoted Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Guardians fan. Roger formerly attended both McComb Church of Christ and East Folk Avenue Church of God.
Visitation for Roger will be from 9-11 a.m. Monday, December 29, 2025, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, with funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Findlay City Little League Programs.
