Rodney D. Cramer

Rodney Dean Cramer, 72, of Findlay, passed away at 2:55 a.m. Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. He was born December 31, 1952, to the late Lester and Ruth (Cunningham) Cramer.

Also preceding him in death are his brothers, Steve, Joe and Randy Cramer; his sister, Sue Deal; half brother, William Lootens; and his son, Jason Cramer-Naso.

He is survived by his children, Ryan (Elissa) Cramer, Nicole Price and Morgan (Kevin) Kidd, all of Findlay, Mindy (Andy) Frederick of Reading, Pennsylvania, and Lisa (Duke) Campbell of Clyde; brother, Dan (Sandy) Cramer of Arcadia, Florida; as well as 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Rodney proudly served his country in the Vietnam War from 1969-1971 with Battery G Searchlight, 29th Artillery unit. He was an active member of VFW Post 5645 in Findlay, where he served as Commander from 2004-2013. The family would like to express their profound gratitude to the nurses, respiratory therapists and physicians at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Bridge Home Health and Hospice as well as Birchaven for their kind and compassionate care.

A memorial dinner will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, January 11, 2025, at VFW Post 5645, Findlay.

Arrangements are being handled by COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay.
