Rocky Naso Obituary

Rocky L. "Rock" Naso

Rocky L. "Rock" Naso, 68, of Findlay, went to be with the Lord late Sunday, Oct. 30, 2022.

He was born Jan. 27, 1954, in Detroit, Michigan. In 1961, Rocky's family moved to Findlay, where he graduated from Findlay High School in 1973. Rocky retired from Whirlpool Corp. after 38 dedicated years of employment. He will be remembered as a humorous, hard-working, and loving person.

In 1996, Rocky married the love of his life, Tamra (Earl) Naso, who survives. He is also survived by his loving sister, Paulette Naso; aunt and godmother, Lucy Biando; nieces, Heather Heidlebaugh and family, and Sicily Naso and family; father- and mother-in-law, Larry and Linda Earl; two sisters-in-law, Deborah Busick and Diana Pennycuff; brother-in-law, Charles Stearns; four grandchildren, Katelyn and Jake Naso of Orlando, Florida, and Alejandra and Isabella Naso of Caguas, Puerto Rico, and two great grandchildren: Dominic and Kannon Colon of Orlando, Florida; and beloved dog, Hank.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Naso; mother, Ellen (Coppola) Naso; brother, Victor Naso; son, Jason Naso; and mother-in-law, Elizabeth Cramer.

Rocky had many hobbies and interests, but his love of baseball and New York Yankees was a constant in his life. He inherited this passion from his father and grew up playing little league with his brother. As an adult, Rock gave back to the Findlay community as a little league baseball coach and umpire. He was also a proud member of NRA, Findlay Fishing Club, and UCOA Gun Club. He was an outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed hunting, trapping, and fishing. In his spare time, he also enjoyed leather working and selling his goods at motorcycle swap meets and flea markets. He was a loving father, husband, and devoted son who read the newspaper with his mother every morning until her passing. All who knew him will remember their time with Rock and will cherish the fun and laughter he brought into their lives.

At Rocky's request, no services will take place. Arrangements are being handled by Melrose Cremation and Life Celebrations.
