Robert Haley Obituary
Robert J. Haley, 86, of Findlay, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2026. He was born in Findlay, March 10, 1939, to the late Ferald and Dorothy (Smith) Haley. Robert was raised by his grandparents, Jesse (Alice) Smith and was a 1959 graduate of Findlay High School. On December 31, 1959, he married Carol McDill, and she preceded him in death. Surviving are a daughter, Virginia Shuster and a son, Scott (Tammy) Haley, both of Findlay; and a granddaughter, Sheila Brenner.
He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, David Shuster.
He was a machinist and retired from Ball Metal after many years of service. Robert was a member of Central Church of Christ, Millstream Wood Carvers and Findlay Sailing Club.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. Monday. February 2, 2026, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, where a funeral service will begin at 1 p.m.. A family-only burial will follow in Van Horn Cemetery.
Memorial contribu-tions can be made in memory of Robert to National Kidney Foundation or Cancer Patient Services.

It is with extreme sadness to learn of "Bobby's" passing. He was a constant presence at Millstream Wood Carvers, and we are all deeply indebted to him for all of his contributions to the club. His carvings and wood burnings were admired by all. We shall miss his presence and his quiet and steadfast determination to face all of life's challenges with dignity and unwavering resolve.
