Robert Bruton Obituary

Robert Bob Bruton

Bob Bruton, 66, of Findlay, passed away Thursday, Sept. 26, 2024, at Bridge Hospice Care Center.

Bob was born in Chicago, Illinois, to Robert and Betty (Anderson) Bruton, who preceded him in death. Bob was the beloved brother to Terry (Louise), Rick (Sanette), and Steve (Maggie) Bruton of Chicago, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Bruton, and sister, Robin Bruton.

Bob was a devoted father to Amy (Mike "Ernie") Foltz of McComb and Robin (Wes) Burns of Arlington and grandfather to Antonio (Camryn) Composano, Emma Downs (Ryan), Bianka, Makayla, and Oliva Burns, and Rylie and Raegan Cooper, and great-grandchildren expected to arrive this spring. He is survived by his beloved friend and mother of his daughters, Sharon Bruton.

Bob is also survived by his fiancé, Sue Dillinger; and bonus family, Blaine, Crystal, Patrick Dillinger, and Tyra and Lexy Purcell.

Bob was a truck driver with over 45 years, retiring with Hyway Trucking of Findlay. When you couldn't find him on the open road, you could catch him cheering his favorite home town teams like Chicago Bears and Chicago White Sox, tinkering in his garage, feeding the neighborhood squirrels, napping in his chair with his fur buddy Stefano, or spoiling his grandchildren. Bob touched many lives with his humors personality and BIG heart.
