Robert G. Bibler

Robert G. "Bob" Bibler, 94, of Rawson, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2025. He was born in Findlay July 31, 1930, to the late Howard and Fairy (Naus) Bibler.

Bob graduated from Rawson High School in 1949 and served his country in the United States Air Force where he was stationed in Japan.

On October 19, 1958, he married M. Louise Schwinn and she preceded him in death August 10, 2009. Bob is survived by three sons, Rex H. (Kellie) Bibler of Findlay, John Bibler of Findlay and Jim (Susie) Bibler of Delaware, Ohio. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Phillip Bibler, Mallory (Paul) Frentsos, Colin Bibler; and numerous nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, M. Louise Bibler; and sister, Catherine Wilson.

He retired from Marathon Oil Company Aviation Division. Following retirement, Bob worked for Dr. Beckett for 18 years. He farmed the family farm with his brother-in-law, Roy. He had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed going through the drive-thru at Wilson's Sandwich Shop and eating on S. Main St., watching for motorcycles. Bob never knew a stranger and could carry on a conversation with anyone he met. Bob attended the Bible Fellowship Church in Arlington and loved classic country and western music.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, February 27, 2025, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME. Funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Friday, February 28, 2025, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME. There will be no burial at this time.

Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Bob to Findlay-Hancock County Public Library or Hancock County Humane Society.
