Richard J. Regnier

Richard J. "Dick" Regnier, 77, of Findlay, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2025, after a devastating battle with bone marrow cancer ending at Hearthstone Manor, Woodstock, Illinois. Dick was born July 12, 1947, in Aurora, Illinois, the son of Robert and Marie (Esser) Regnier. He received his bachelor's of science degree from the University of Illinois. Dick was a veteran of the United States Army. He married Judith on September 18, 1976, in the Church by the Side of the Road, Rockton, Illinois. He was formerly employed by Beloit Corporation and then Kalmbach Feeds as the Chief Financial Officer. Dick liked spending time golfing, watching sports, and traveling. He also enjoyed fine dining in his free time. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Judi Nelson; children, Eric (Kristie) Madison and Melissa (Shaun) Wenz; grandchildren, Jess Madison, Bryan Madison, Hayley King, Parker Wenz, and Kallen Wenz; and brother, Robert Regnier.

Dick was predeceased by his parents and son, Bryan Madison.

Memorial Service for Dick will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, Wisconsin. Visitation of Remembrance will be from 1 p.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
