Richard Knepper Obituary

Richard E. Knepper

Richard E. Knepper, 71, of Port Clinton, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at his home. He was born January 3, 1955, in Tiffin, to Rolland Richard and Marjorie (Hull) Knepper. He first married Deborah Knepper, and they later divorced. He then married Rae Marie Reinhart, and they also divorced. Richard married Phaedra True, April 14, 2006.

He is survived by his wife, Phaedra Knepper; son, Alan (Tammy Wasiniak) Knepper; sister, Sue (Lloy) Brunk; grandchildren, A.J. (Tessa) Knepper Jr. and Allyson Knepper; and great-grandchildren, Deliah and Georgia Knepper.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Barbara Knepper.

He was a graduate of Arcadia High School. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Arcadia and of D.A.V. He loved The Ohio State Buckeyes, fishing, and music.

Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2026, at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, with the Rev. Rich Metzger officiating. Burial will be at Knollcrest Cemetery, Arcadia. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
