Richard A. Jones

Richard Allen Jones, 59, of Rawson, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at his residence.

He was born Sept. 4, 1963, in Columbus, to Walter and Marie (Jones) Jones. He married Rita Swinehart on Aug. 1, 1997, and she survives.

Richard attended Findlay High School. He worked as a flooring installation specialist for many years. Richard enjoyed gardening and sprint car racing. His most joy was being a wonderful grandfather to his grandkids and loving his family and friends.

Richard is survived by his mother, Marie; loving wife of 25 years, Rita; two daughters, Shanna Swartz (ex-husband, Ray Swartz), and Antonia (Kyle) Crowe, both of Findlay; four grandchildren, Jazmyn Swartz, Ayden Jones, Jurnee Swartz, and Ray Swartz, all of Findlay; brother, Mike (Karlene) Jones of Monclova; sister, Shelly Jones of Findlay; nieces, Alissa, Kayla, Shannon, and Allie; nephews, Austin, Tyler, and Anthony; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

Per Richard's request, there will be no formal funeral.

HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500), is honored to service the Jones family.
