Richard Gibson

Richard Gibson, 67, of Mt. Blanchard, died at 10:55 a.m. Sunday, January 5, 2025, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. He was born March 8, 1957, in Findlay to the late Frank and Betty (Hill) Gibson. He married Teresa Nique on June 12, 1976, and she survives.

Richard is also survived by his daughter, Kriston (Bill) Evans of Glencoe, Kentucky; brothers, Duane (Carol) Gibson of Kenton and Frank (Teena) Gibson of Upper Sandusky; sisters, Barb (Chuck) Schuster of Wharton, Marilee (Rob) Webb of Upper Sandusky and Peg (Bruce) Long of Tennessee; his beloved granddog, Daisy; and eight cats.

Richard was a 1975 graduate of Riverdale High School. He retired from Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. in 2012. He enjoyed fishing on Lake Erie, Indian Lake and was an avid gardener.

A funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Friday, January 10, 2025, at CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Arlington. Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hancock County Humane Society.
