Randy Robison Obituary

Randy J. Robison

In Loving Memory of a devoted husband, father, and friend

Randy Joe Robison, born August 31, 1952, departed this life peacefully Friday, July 25, 2025, at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay, surrounded by the warmth and love of his family.

A beloved son of the late Ralph S. Robison, Jr. and Lois A. (McFarland) Robison, Randy spent his formative years in the close-knit community of Frazeysburg, Ohio. He graduated in 1970 from Tri-Valley High School in Dresden, where he forged friendships and values that lasted a lifetime.

Randy's journey took him to northwest Ohio, where he attended Bowling Green State University for two years before embarking on a dedicated career at RCA in Findlay. His diligence and commitment spanned twenty years with RCA, followed by two decades of service at Cooper Tire & Rubber Company, from which he retired in 2017.

On February 15, 1975, Randy joined his life with Laura (Nicholson) Robison. Their enduring 50-year marriage stands as a testament to his unwavering devotion and the importance of family. Laura survives him, carrying forward the legacy of their partnership.

Randy is lovingly remembered by his children, son, Lance Robison and daughter, Randi (Shawn) Hoover, both of Findlay. His memory also lives on through his brother, Richard (Carolyn) Robison of Dresden; his sister, Ronda Robison of Frazeysburg; and the grandchildren he cherished, Ellsworth Evans Jr. (E.J.) of Findlay, Elijah Evans of Arlington, Exander Evans of Findlay, Alec (Lindsay) Hoover of New Riegel, Peyton (Edwin) Hoover of Findlay, Paige Hoover of Bascom, and Michael Hoover of Bascom. Randy was further blessed with two great-granddaughters, Harley Hoover and Aroara Evans, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

Randy's life was defined by love, loyalty, and generosity. He will forever be remembered as a devoted husband, a great father, an adored son, a caring brother, a kind uncle, a steadfast friend, a determined coach, and an enthusiastic fan. His laughter, encouragement, and unwavering presence enriched the lives of all who knew him. To say he will be missed is truly an understatement.

The family has chosen to honor Randy's memory with a private ceremony and a forthcoming celebration of life, with details to be announced. Arrangements have been entrusted to CRATES FUNERAL HOME.

Robison Family: Was so sorry and shocked to hear of the passing of my cousin Randy. We had not seen him for a while but kept in touch on occasions. We grew up together in Frazeysburg, Ohio when we were much younger. Always remember going to Arlington to watch Lance play basketball. Our hearts are broken. May GOD comfort the family in this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayer go out to the family in this time of sorrow. Ralph & Susan Howard
