Randy George Obituary

Randy L. George

Randy Lee George, 69, of Findlay, passed away at Bridge Hospice Care Center on September 4, 2025. He was born in Findlay to Sanford and Mary Lou (Sampson) George on June 25, 1956.

Randy graduated from Findlay High School. He then proudly served his country in the United States Navy for over 20 years. After his military service, he became a truck driver.

Randy's survivors include his mother, Mary Lou George of Maryville, TN; son, Christopher George of the Netherlands; sister, Kay (Gary) Garbers of Northwood; aunts, Bonnie Mason of Maryville, TN and Eloise Steans of Ft. Myers, FL; and nephews, Brian and Jason Garbers of Toledo.

He was preceded in death by his father, Sanford "Sam" George.

Friends and family may visit on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500). His funeral service will follow the visitation at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor John Genszler of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Oregon, OH officiating. Hancock County Veterans Memorial Squad will be conducting full military rites. Interment will be in Tawa Cemetery at a later date.

My deepest condolences to the family. I was a classmate of Randy's. We just messaged each other a few weeks ago. I am so very sorry for your loss. He was a very special friend to me as well as my brothers. They were in Boy Scout Troup 321 together. May he RIP
