Ralph Edward Anderson

Ralph Edward Anderson, 92, of rural Jenera, passed away late Thursday, May 9 2024, at Serenity Springs Senior Living, Arlington.

Ralph was born May 19, 1931, in Youngstown, to Edward and Lucille (Eschliman) Anderson, who preceded him in death. He married Dorothy Marie Glick on Oct. 22, 1957, and she preceded him in death Jan. 10, 2014. The marriage was blessed with three children, Donald R. (Lois) Anderson of Carey and Paula (Robert) Tomlins and Pamela (Jeff) Pepple, both of rural Jenera. Ralph also has six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. His only brother, Dale Anderson, lives in Bedford, Texas.

Ralph proudly served his country with U.S. Air Force from March, 1952 until March, 1956. Most of his military career was served in Alaska. Ralph was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jenera. Ralph's interests in life were metal detecting, writing letters to the editor of the local paper, gathering and shelling hickory and black walnuts, and picking blackberries. Ralph's working career was as a pharmacist from which he retired.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2024, at Crates Funeral Home, Arlington. Ralph's private graveside service will follow at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Jenera, with Pastor Matt Nowak officiating.

Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran School, Jenera.
