Phyllis Anne Renninger

Phyllis Anne Renninger, 77, passed away Friday, Oct. 28, 2022.

Phyllis and her husband, D. Scott Renninger Jr. were married June 15, 1969. Phyllis and Scott were both former Hancock County residents and lived in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania, for the past 44 years. They had three children, Angie (Tim) Redlinger, Scooter (Alison) Renninger III, and T.J. (Carissa) Renninger, and five adoring grandchildren, Scotty Renninger IV, Etta Renninger, Clayton Renninger, Amelia Renninger, and Avery Renninger. She is survived by her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Raised in Houcktown, Phyllis was a member of the first Riverdale High School graduating class in 1963. She graduated from Findlay Beauty Academy in 1964 before being hired in Findlay in her first job. A licensed beautician, Phyllis practiced her craft professionally until their first child was born in 1973 when she turned her focus to raising the family. Phyllis spent many hours at ball fields supporting her husband's, children's, and grandchildren's teams.

Phyllis was born Oct. 6, 1945, in Findlay, to Paul W. and Lelah M. (Landes) Lauck. She has two sisters, Donna Bond of Findlay and Charlotte (Ken) Kain of Arlington, three brothers, Paul "Junior" (Cathy) Lauck, Ron (Patti) Lauck, and Richard (Joey) Lauck, all of Arlington, and sister-in-law, Ginny Renninger of Findlay, who all survive. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Lelah Lauck; brother-in-law, Thomas Renninger; and in-laws, Donald and Nellie Renninger.
