Phillip Conley Obituary

Phillip Rowland Conley

Phillip Rowland Conley, 75, of Findlay, died Sunday, July 13, 2025, at 5:46 p.m. at The Manor at Glendale, Findlay. He was born November 26, 1949, in Carey to Victor and Erma (Bayes) Conley. He married Kandus (Wall) May 1, 1967, and she died August 18, 2022.

He was a member of Stoney Ridge United Baptist Church in rural Carey and was the church clerk. Phillip retired from CSX Railroad as a train conductor.

Phillip is survived by three children, Ryan R. Conley of Bairdstown, Ohio, Nichole (Teresa) Conley of Findlay, Shannon E. Conley of Findlay; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Wanda L. Culver of Carey and Vicky S. (Jerry) Pore of Arlington.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Darren E. Conley, two brothers, Ronald K. Conley and Howard E.Conley; and a sister, Janet K. Conley.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Beach Funeral Home, Carey. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at the church with additional visitation from 1–2 p.m. at the church. Elders Patrick Gilliland and Tony Blair will officiate. Burial will follow at Zion Bloom Cemetery, rural Vanlue.

Memorials may be given to the church.

I was witness as a tiny cousin to Phill and Candys nuptials which my father officiated years ago and I´ve always felt close to my cousin. I can only imagine the reunion in Heaven
