Philip M. McGrew

Philip M. McGrew, 76, of Northwood, passed away Saturday, Jan. 21, 2023, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.

He was born Nov. 12, 1946, in Toledo, the son of the late G.D. "Bill" and Marguerite "Peg" (Darling) McGrew. He married Lyda Jean Sitzwater who preceded him in death.

Philip's survivors include his daughters, Michelle (Tim) Franks of Van Buren and Misty (Mike) Tumino of Perrysburg; stepdaughters, Victoria Broka and DeAnn Broka, both of Toledo; stepson, Terry Broka of Toledo; grandchildren, Brianna Long, Steven Franks, and Sullivan, Cecily and Evangeline Tumino; and stepgrandchildren, Samantha and Gabrielle Broka; and sister, Diane Wolf of Findlay.

Philip was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and brother, John McGrew.

Philip was employed as a supervisor at the Jeep Factory in Toledo working in various departments where he was a problem solver. He enjoyed fishing, Shuffle Board, Cleveland Browns, and ran a football contest at Jeep for 32 years.

Philip's memorial gathering will be 1-3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, 2023, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. Celebration of life services will be 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Christopher Craven officiating. Burial will follow at St. Michael Cemetery, Findlay.
