Peter Davidson Obituary
Peter M. Davidson, 76, of Carey, passed away Friday, Nov. 3, 2023, at his residence.
Peter was born Sept. 19, 1947, in Grafton, to Benjamin and Gladys (Downham) Davidson, who preceded him in death. In 1971, Peter married the love of his life, Sherri Clawson, at her home in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. They shared many treasured moments together until Sherri's passing April 26, 2013.
He is survived by his sisters, Judith Davidson of Findlay and Alice Katherine (John) Davidson-Peglar of Wales, United Kingdom; and nieces and nephews.
Peter proudly served his country the U.S. Air Force with honor and dedication. After his service, he pursued his passion for art and photography, earning a master's degree from Bowling Green State University. Peter's talent and creativity in graphic arts and photography were unparalleled and his work captured the beauty of nature and the world around him.
He found solace outdoors, appreciating the wonders of nature. Peter also had a successful career as owner and operator of Schoolhouse Graphics. His drawings of custom hot rod cars were phenomenal. His dedication and passion for his graphic design left an indelible mark.
A celebration of life service luncheon will be announced at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Hanneman Funeral Home, 201 Osborn Ave., Findlay.
Donations may be made in Peter's honor to Cancer Patient Services or Hancock County Humane Society.

So profoundly saddened to learn of Peter's passing. He was a kind, thoughtful, caring, communicative friend from afar for decades. His late Mother-in-Law was my best friend and wife was like family. Peter and I maintained a relationship through mail (with photos) and telephone for over 50 years. I marveled at his beautiful script and personal strength. He is already so very missed.
