Peggy Mathias Obituary
Peggy Ann Mathias, 70, of Fostoria, passed away Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024, at Birchaven Village.
She was born Jan. 5, 1954, in Fostoria to Howard and Wanda (Wehrle) Himes.
Peggy was a graduate of Elmwood High School. She was a lifetime member of Fostoria AMVETS and Eagles.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are children, Miranda (Daniel) Wildman and Angela Doerfer, both of Fostoria; brothers, Don Himes, Robert Himes and Harold Himes; sisters, Karen Cooper, Cynthia Pruett, Earlene Shock; grandchildren, Madison Doerfer, Savannah Doerfer, Sierra (Jocelyn) Rayle, Zachary Doerfer and Dakohta (Jordan) Salyers; and great-grandchildren, Serenity Gillen and Oakley Rayle.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arthur (Bill) Doerfer; brothers, John Himes and Michael Himes; and sister, Linda Himes.
There will be no services. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay, 419-422-1500, is honored to serve Peggy's family.
