Paula Jeanne (Martin) Cannode

Paula Jeanne (Martin) Cannode, 75, of Pandora, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2023, at Bridge Hospice, Findlay.

She was born July 20, 1948, in Lima, to Paul and Martha (Gable) Martin. She married Charles Cannode on Feb. 3, 1968, and he survives in Pandora.

Paula is also survived by their three children, Dana (Rod) Inbody and Katie (Eric) Deken, both of Pandora, and Jeff (Amanda) Cannode of Gilboa; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and brother, Jeff Martin of Gilboa.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Dane Martin; and sister, Linda Martin.

Paula was a 1966 graduate of Pandora-Gilboa High School. She loved crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, collecting cookbooks, reading, and watching her Ohio State Buckeyes. But, her greatest love was watching her grandchildren grow. She could never tell her grandchildren "no." She was a great wife, mother, and grandmother who loved being with her family and friends.

Paula's funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2023, at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa, with Pastor Matt Steiner officiating. Burial will follow at Harman Cemetery, Gilboa. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30, 2023, and 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
