Paul E. Wilkinson

Paul E. Wilkinson, 92, of Findlay, died at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2022, at Birchaven Nursing Home, Findlay. He was born Aug. 2, 1930, in Akron, to the late Walter and Louise (Kelley) Wilkinson. He married Dorthea Hector on June 10, 1951, and she survives in Findlay.

Other survivors include three children, Linda (Donette) Alonzo-Helmick of Columbia, Missouri, Larry (Karen) Wilkinson of Findlay, and Lee (Susan) Wilkinson of Tiffin; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and sister, Sarah Simon of Findlay.

He was also preceded in death by a son, David Paul Wilkinson; and sister, Dorothy (Bob) German.

Paul previously owned and retired from Shady Lake Campground. He was a veteran of U.S. Army during the Korean War. Paul was a member of Gilboa United Methodist Church and American Legion Post 536.

Paul's funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022, at Gilboa United Methodist Church with Pastor Ruth Carter-Crist. Burial will be at a later date at Harman Cemetery, Gilboa, with military rites by Gilboa American Legion. Visitation will be 2-3 p.m. Saturday at the church.

Arrangements are under the direction of LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.

Memorial donations may be made to charity of the donor's choice.
