Paul Donaldson Obituary
Paul L. Donaldson Jr., 65, of Tiffin, passed away at 3:15 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, 2023, at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, surrounded by his family.
He was born Dec. 10, 1957, at Fostoria Hospital, to Paul L. and Henrietta (Berger) Donaldson Sr. He married Deb Bohanon, they later divorced, and she survives in Fostoria.
Paul is also survived by his sons, Jonathan Paul (Michelle) Donaldson of Wayne, Jason A. (Hannah) Donaldson of Point Place, and Jordan J. (Aubrey) Donaldson of Tiffin; grandchildren, Isabella Donaldson and Ripley Ringle; stepgrandchildren, Ash and Arya Rainsberger; brother, Leonard (Wendy) Donaldson of Fostoria; and sisters, Vickie (Leo) Dannenberger of Millbury and Dawn (the late Mario) DeLaRosa of Fostoria.
He ran cross country for and was a 1976 graduate of Fostoria High School. Paul retired from the former Honeywell, Fostoria, after 32 years of service. He was a member of Findlay Moose.
Paul will be fondly remembered for his passion for golf (and his accomplishment in making two holes-in-one), racquetball, the Buckeyes, Tigers, and Lions. Most of all, he will be remembered as a devoted father and grandfather.
Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 13, 2023, at HOENING & SON FUNERAL HOME, 133 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, Ohio, 44830.
Paul's celebration of life service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2023, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Knollcrest Cemetery, Arcadia. Paul would have appreciated casual or golf attire dress for the visitation and funeral.
Memorial contributions are suggested to American Liver Foundation or Hopewell-Loudon Athletic Boosters (in care of the funeral home).
