Patricia L. Thomas

Patricia L. Thomas, 95, formerly of Findlay, Ohio, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Hoosier Village in Indianapolis, Indiana.

She was born July 22, 1929, in Washington Court House to Medrith and Floyd Mitchell. Patricia attended Washington Court House High School before continuing her education at Bowling Green University. It was there that she met Harvey L. Thomas, whom she married April 29, 1951. Together, they lived in various locations across Ohio and Indiana until Harvey's passing in 1998. In 2009, Patricia married G. Norman Nicholson, who preceded her in death in 2022.

Patricia dedicated over 30 years as a volunteer at Blanchard Valley Hospital, a role that brought her great fulfillment. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing bridge and mahjong. She was a member of Findlay Country Club and First Presbyterian Church. In 2022, she relocated to Indianapolis to be closer to her children.

She is survived by her children, Thomas L. Thomas and Teri L. Thomas of Indianapolis and Jennifer L. Wagner of Toledo; grandchildren, Patricia L. Wagner of Toledo and Thomas E. Taylor of Atlanta, Georgia; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Mitchell.

Memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2025, in the chapel of First Presbyterian Church of Findlay, Ohio.
