Patricia Jean Stacy
Patricia Jean Stacy, 92, of Arlington, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2025. She was born in Findlay, May 4, 1933, to Paul and Marvel E. (Willeke) Spearman. She attended Arcadia High School and married Robert Lee Stacy, September 23, 1950, and spent 74 years of loving marriage to Bob.
Together they raised four children, Diana L. Spears, Garry D. (Darla) Stacy, Chery A. (Randy) Francis and Rick A. Stacy, all of Arlington. Patricia is also survived by six grandchildren, Tracy Robinson, Denise (Grant) Durenberger, Mark (Kim) Stacy, Nichlaus Stacy, Christin (Josh) Bassler, and Kathryn (Joe) Lortz; 12 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Karen C. Roth of Findlay.
She was preceded by her parents; husband, Robert; daughter, Diana Spears; and a brother-in-law, Gary Roth.
Pat was a lifelong member of First Lutheran Church in Findlay, a member of Ohio Cowbells and Red Hats and loved to bake and cook for her family. She loved going to Coldwater Lake, Michigan, and to Dale Hollow for boating, visiting with her cousins, and attending Ohio State Buckeye football games. Pat worked at JCPenney, Macy's, and Elder-Beerman, but her biggest joy in life was working side-by-side with Bob, spending many hours sorting feedlot cattle and sending them to market. They enjoyed their long road trips together, going to Texas and up to Canada to pick up show steers. After retirement, Pat took pleasure in watching her grandkids and spending the winters with Bob in Mesa, Arizona, enjoying the warm weather with friends.
Pat will always be remembered for her smile that would light up a room, her strong Christian values and love for the Lord, her family and strong work ethic, as she worked tirelessly till dusk and then up very early to start another day.
Her family would like to thank the ladies who helped watch over her so she could spend her remaining days out on the farm, Bridge Hospice for their support, and all of her many friends and relatives, who she loved and cherished greatly.
A private graveside service will be Friday, November 14, 2025, at Houcktown Cemetery. CRATES FUNERAL HOME is assisting with arrangements.
Memorial contribu-tions can be made in memory of Patricia to Hancock County Junior Fair Board.
