Patricia Ellen (Child) Graham

Patricia Ellen "Tricia" (Child) Graham, 69, died Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2023, in Harbor Springs, Michigan.

Tricia was born May 3, 1954, to E. Tom Child and Geraldine Wilson Child. She grew up in Findlay and spent her summers in Bayview, Michigan, with her parents, sisters, and extended family.

She attended Ohio University and graduated from Western Michigan University with a bachelor's degree in English. She moved to Harbor Springs and worked in Petoskey at the Bahnhof and later managed Marti Walker's women's clothing store.

Tricia married Tom Graham on March 19, 1987. She became involved with the Presbyterian Church of Harbor Springs, serving on various church committees, participating in numerous bible studies, and going on mission trips. Her faith was a major part of her life. She also served on several local youth substance abuse groups.

Tricia enjoyed spending weekends on Beaver Island and at the family cottage in Canada with her husband and family. She liked hiking, boating, and exercising. She was a loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister, and aunt.

She was diagnosed with dementia.

Tricia is survived by her husband, Tom Graham; children, Nate (Abbie) Graham and Trey Graham; grandchildren, Roman, Mackson, and Aela Graham; stepson, James Graham; and sisters, Sue Child, Nancy Child, and Mary Child.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2023, at Harbor Light Community Chapel, Harbor Springs, Michigan. Tricia's funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2023, at the chapel. A celebration of life gathering will follow at Graham boathouse located next to Ford Park in Harbor Springs.
