Patricia 'Faye' Altman

Patricia 'Faye' Altman, 80, of Findlay, passed away surrounded by her loving family Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2022, at home.

Faye was born May 21, 1942, on the family farm in Seneca County, to the late Clay and Polly (Puckett) Risner. Faye attended school in Carey and later graduated from Vanlue High School.

Faye was a devoted mother and loving grandmother who always put her family first. She enjoyed spending time visiting Amish Country with her family and could often be found tending to her beautiful flower and vegetable gardens. In Faye's free time, she could be found crocheting and doing the daily crossword puzzle in The Courier.

For more than 40 years, Faye worked at Blanchard Valley Hospital as a nurse's aide and later in the emergency department as the department's secretary. In 2005, Faye decided to retire so she could spend more time with her grandchildren.

Faye will be missed by her son, Gary 'Chip' (Andrea) Altman II of Findlay; grandchildren, Kailea, Ethan, and Amelia Altman; siblings, Ronald (Theresa) Risner, James (Rebecca) Risner, Jack (Irene) Risner, and Janice Hindall; former husband, Gary Altman I; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by siblings, Helen Risner, Josephine Risner, Ellis Risner, Debra Winter, Janie Risner, Mary Ann Allison, Alvin Risner, and Judy Cramner.

Private family services will take place at Spring Grove Cemetery, Carey.

Donations may be made in Faye's honor to Blanchard Valley Residential Center, 1701 E. Main Cross S.t, Findlay, in honor of Janie Risner.
