Norman Schaller Obituary
Norman E. Schaller, 92, of Dunkirk, passed away at 7:55 a.m. Friday, July 7, 2023, at Vancrest of Ada.
He was born March 15, 1931, in Hancock County, to Lauren and Venna (Vandermark) Schaller, who preceded him in death. He married Naomi Boehm on Oct. 5, 1952, and she also preceded him in death Sept. 11, 2018.
Norman is survived by his son, Paul (Debra) Schaller of Jenera; daughter, Marth Schaller of Dunkirk; brother, Robert (Reba) Schaller of Lakewood, Colorado; grandchildren, Krista (Nathan) Thomas and Karin (Kenny) Uhlenhake; great-grandchildren, Jaden and Austin Thomas, and Maelee Uhlenhake.
Norman was a veteran of U.S. National Guard. He was a retired farmer and carpenter and was a lifetime member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jenera.
Norman's funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday, July 10, 2023, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jenera, with Pastor Matt Nowak officiating. Burial will be at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will be 12-4 p.m. Sunday, July 9, 2023, at CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Arlington.
