Nola Woolley Obituary

Nola June Woolley

Nola June Woolley, 72, of Dunkirk, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at her residence. She was born June 18, 1953, in Kenton, to Lysle J. Ard and Marian L. (Kraft) Ard, who preceded her in death.

Nola graduated from Kenton High School and devoted 51 years of service to UAP, where she worked in the material control department. Her dedication, strong work ethic, and reliability were well known and deeply respected.

She was united in marriage to William Woolley, and they shared 25 years together. William survives her at their home in Dunkirk.

Nola is survived by her stepchildren, Kim (Bryan Martin) Camper of Forest, Danielle (Travis McBride) Burd of Forest, Jill (Todd) Spurlock of Findlay, and Amy (Matt) Vogel of Forest.

She is also survived by her stepgrandchildren, Kristin (Jon) Perkins, Kelsie (Andrew) Snook, Kelly (Joe) Weber, Alexa (PJ) Spayde, Matthew Vogel, Amanda (Jon) Young, Elizabeth Burd, and Ryan Burd; 14 great-grandchildren; her brother, Randy Ard; niece, Rhonda Coak; and nephew, Brian Ard.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepgrandson, Cody Camper, and sisters, Louise Bechtol and Lora Magee.

Nola enjoyed an active life. She was a devoted cat lover and loved playing softball, bowling, and golfing. She also enjoyed playing the lottery and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. Nola especially loved following the Kenton football team, cheering them on proudly, especially during their run to the state level. She was also a strong supporter of President Donald Trump and held her beliefs with conviction.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Clark Shields Funeral Home, to celebrate Nola's life. A private graveside service will be at a later date at Hueston Cemetery.

Memorial contribu-tions may be made to Wyandot County Humane Society or Hardin County Humane Society.

Nola will be remembered for her loyalty and deep love for her family. Her presence will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Rest in peace! I played softball with Nola many years back and she could hit that ball like no other. I haven't seen her for years but I remember her as funny and very kind.

Nola was my cousin. Although we have not seen each other in many years. I remember her as a very athletic person. She often would play golf with my dad Charles when he came to Kenton.
