Neva M. Livingston

Neva M. Livingston, 93, of Arlington, died at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. She was born in Arlington, Ohio, on Feb. 28, 1929, to the late Truman and Kathryn (Brown) Bibler. She married Franklin Livingston on Sept. 3, 1948, and he survives.

Also surviving are her sons, Dennis (Candy) Livingston of Upper Sandusky, John (Kay) Livingston of Arlington, and Ronald Livingston of Cridersville; daughters, Connie (Tom) Thomas and Denise (Craig) Durliat, both of Arlington; sister, Colene (Alvin) Feller of Arlington; 17 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Danny Jo Livingston; and brother, Wayne Bibler and his wife, Rose.

She was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and Town and Country CCL, Arlington. Neva formerly worked as a bookkeeper at Lyons Appliance and Lucas Appliance until 1989. She then worked 16 years as a cashier at Meijers, retiring in 2006. Neva also worked tirelessly as a farmer's wife, milking, gardening, canning, cooking, and baking countless cookies, pies, cakes, and cinnamon rolls. A visit to Grandma's house meant you never left hungry. Neva's pride and joy was watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow up. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2022, at Crates Funeral Home, Arlington. Neva's funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, southeast of Arlington, with visitation from 10:30-11 a.m. Pastor Al Schnipke will be officiating. Memorials may be made to Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 20984 Co.
