Neil Yantis Obituary
Neil R Yantis of Arlington passed away peacefully Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2023, at home.
He is survived by two daughters, Cheryl (Roderick) Perkins and Pamela Pleasant; and two brothers, Rex and Gene Yantis.
Neil was preceded in death by his parents, George Raymond and Ruth (Bockey) Yantis; two sisters, Eleanor Kimmell and Charlene Smith; brother, Max Yantis; and most recently, beloved nephew, Ryan Yantis.
Neil's charisma, sense of humor, and inexplicable resilience carried him through to the end. He will be greatly missed.
A memorial gathering will be 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22, 2023, at Crates Funeral Home, Arlington.

well the old sayin in a life you wont fill one hand off true friends, that lasted a lifetime. and when the chips were down, and needed we were there for each other. He was one of the slickest most convincing person i ever meant. We have generations of good times. In my world he will he will be dearly missed love ya TALLMAN Rest In Peace My Friend.

I worked with Neil at Atlas in Arlington back in the 70's. Became great friends and enjoyed hanging out with him. Great person, never knew a stranger.

RIP Uncle Neil. I can never think of you without thinking of that boyish grin, how you drew the attention of any room. I am sorry our families drift apart over the years.
