Miller, Michael A.
MECHANICVILLE - Michael Anthony Miller, 60, of William St., died peacefully in the comfort of his home on June 15, 2025, after an 18-month battle with brain cancer. Born in Schenectady on December 2, 1964, son of the late William Miller and Judith Rowan Wamper, he was a graduate of Shaker High School.
Mike was a self-employed carpenter throughout his life. He loved the outdoors, especially when he was camping or fishing. Michael was a good-hearted and kind man, who strived daily to be the best husband, father, and faithful person. He loved his Lord and tried to share the good word with others. He was confident that his children had a great relationship with the Lord, due in part because of his family's passion for faith.
Members of the Victory Christian Church in Albany, they were weekly attendees, and he was a regular server.
Survivors include his loving wife of 25 years, Melanie Broecker Miller, whom he married on September 11, 1999; children Christopher, Caleb, and Amanda Miller; siblings, Julie Mathis, Donna Kotansky, and William Miller; and several nieces and nephews, including his nephew, Luke, with whom he shared a special relationship.
In keeping with Michael's wishes, there will be no public services held. A private service and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
