Michael Bretz Obituary
Michael "Mike" Bretz, 66, of North Baltimore, died at 11:15 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2025, at his residence. He was born June 7, 1958, in North Baltimore to the late Kenneth and Jonnie (Allison) Bretz. He married Carol Like on April 9, 1977, and she survives.
Mike is also survived by his son, Jeremy Bretz of North Baltimore; daughter, Shari Fisher of Findlay; brothers, Kenny (Karen) Bretz of North Baltimore, John Buchanan of North Baltimore, and Bill (Lisa) Buchanan of McComb; sister, Becky Palmer of Bowling Green; and grandchildren, Ashley Fisher, Aaron Fisher, Cody Fisher and Halie Rose Bretz.
Mike retired from and was a member of Union Hall No. 574, Upper Sandusky, and North Baltimore American Legion Post 539.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2025, at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore, where visitation will be from 11-1 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be at New Maplewood Cemetery, North Baltimore.
Memorial contributions may be made to North Baltimore American Legion Post 539.

I worked with Mike years ago at Plast-O-Meric. He had a big outgoing, friendly personality. His nickname was "Tank". His favorite saying was "fine as frog's hair." And he hated people writing anything in red ink. May you rest in peace, Mike.
