Melinda Taylor Obituary

Melinda P. Taylor

Melinda P. Taylor, 76, of Findlay, passed away peacefully at 11:05 a.m. Friday, November 14, 2025, at her residence.

Melinda was born April 3, 1949, in Findlay to the late Robert J. and Grace L. (Leonard) Farrell. She married Edward J. Taylor, August 17, 1968, and he survives. They were happily married for 57 years.

Melinda and Ed were blessed with two children, a son, Edward J. "Eddie" Taylor Jr., who preceded her in death September 8, 1998, and a daughter, Christina D. (Patrick) Florence, who survives in Worthington, Ohio.

Also surviving are five grandchildren, Holly Ann Taylor, William Joseph Taylor, Grace Victoria Florence, Connor Patrick Florence, and Cooper Edward Florence; and one brother, Greg Farrell.

Melinda was also preceded in death by two sisters, Penny Fruth and Pam Barto; and a brother, Jim Farrell; and a infant brother, Jeffrey.

She was formerly employed at Findlay City Schools and Brinkman's Farm Market.

The family will have a private funeral service and a Celebration of Life for Melinda will be at a later date to be announced for the public.

Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home is assisting family with arrangements.

Memorials may be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice, 15100 Birchaven Lane, Findlay, Ohio 45840.
