Grady Price Obituary
A service honoring his life and legacy will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at New Scott Olly Baptist Church, 2627 Willow Glen River Rd., Alexandria, LA 71302 with Elder Kenneth Allen officiating.
Public Viewing & Visitation will begin at 9:00 am and continue until the start of service at 10:00 am.
Mr. Price will be laid to rest in the Garden of Memories Cemetery immediately following the service.

OBITUARY
A Time To Be Born: Grady Dee Price was born in Pineville, Louisiana on May 29, 1950 to the late Elder Robert Price Sr. and Missionary Ethel Price. He was the 9th born of eleven children. His family called him "Nana".
A Time To Plant: Grady received Christ at an early age and was baptized in 1959 by the late Rev. Lenard Dorsey. Upon his passing, he was a member of Price Memorial Church of God in Christ, Pastor Kenneth Allen.
A Time To Remember: In 1968 Grady met the love of his life, Cathie Ann Hammond Price. They were united in matrimony on December 23, 1972. To this Union two children were born, Teriyosha Johnson and Troy Price.
A Time To Live: Grady was a 1969 graduate of Peabody High School and upon graduating he enlisted in the U.S. Army. After returning home he was employed with the Rapides Parish School Board for over 20+ years where he retired.
A Time To Die: On Sunday, September 22, 2024 Grady Price departed this earthly life and went to his eternal home. He was preceded in death by his parents, and seven siblings: Supt.Robert Jr, Alice, Flenard (A.C.), Walter, Magalene, Oscar, and Marie.
He leaves to cherish in memory his wife, Cathie Price & two children; Troy Price of Alexandria,LA and Teriyosha Johnson(Gary) of Alexandria,LA. One sister-Ella Price Turner(David) of Valdosta,GA; Two brothers- Jimmy Frank Price(Willie Dee) of Los Angeles,CA; and Roy Lee Price (Tracey) of Inglewood,CA. He also leaves behind five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
