Mary Hagerty Obituary

Mary Ann Hagerty

Mary Ann Hagerty (nèe Howard), 77, of Findlay, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 3, 2025. She was born March 2, 1948, in Findlay to Kenneth and Ann Howard, who preceded her in death. She graduated from Findlay High School. Shortly after graduating, she became a young beautiful bride August 7, 1966, when a strong, handsome farmer, who liked to fly airplanes, swooped in and captured her heart forever. They shared many adventures early on and then settled into farming together and raising a family.

She had various retail jobs through the years, cleaned houses, and then went on to be a full-time homemaker. She loved to be outdoors, tending to her beautiful flowers and meticulous landscape. She liked to sit on her patio and enjoy the many different birds that came to the bird feeder, as well as the deer and various other wildlife that would visit their yard. She was a talented artist who also had a keen eye for decorating and making a home look beautiful and welcoming. She and Tom loved to visit their cabin in the mountains of Tionesta, Pennsylvania, and they had many happy times together.

She was a loyal friend and sister and cherished her younger brothers and all the many friends and neighbors in her life that she was close to through the years, some near, some far.

She was a very proud and caring mother and grandmother who loved her children and grandchildren very much. She so greatly enjoyed spending time with each of them.

She loved Jesus, and we all find comfort in knowing that she is now joyful and pain-free in heaven and is reunited with her beloved parents.

Mary is survived by her loving husband Tom; her children, Lisa (DeMya) Wimberly, Brett (Nikki) Hagerty, and Jennifer (Bobby) Ring; her grandchildren, Jordan (Courtney) Musselman, Keianna Wimberly, DeNay Wimberly, Kelsey Hagerty, Carson Hagerty, Brendon Ring, Justin Ring, and Alyssa Ring; her bonus grandchildren, Amber (Redden) Smith; great-granddaughter, Lylah Gomez; and her brothers, Mike (Susie) Howard, and Jeff Howard.

She was dearly loved by us all and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 14, 2025, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at the funeral home.
