Martha Shroyer Obituary
Martha Jane Shroyer, 91, of Bucyrus, died at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at Alter Care of Bucyrus.
She was born Dec. 12, 1932, in Findlay, to Fred and Iscah Mae (Fairbanks) Nivison. She married Robert R. Shroyer on Oct. 14, 1950, and he preceded her in death in 1984.
Martha is survived by a daughter, Judy (James) Rhodes of Findlay; brother, Milo Nivison of Findlay; grandchildren, David S. (Angela) Rhodes, Angela Fishpaw, Scott J. (Lindsay) Rhodes, and Ryan (April) Houck; great-grandchildren, Hayleah, Caydin, Matthew, Sara, Lyndsay, Alex, Hannah, Jacob, Paige, Zachary, Nolan and Hunter; five great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Martha E. (Charles) Houck; a great-grandson, Logan; brothers, Dale, Clyde, Ernest, Freddie, and Merle; and sisters, Wanda Hile, Faye Bedford, Cleo Wiler, and Jeannie VanWormer.
She was a homemaker and member of Trinity Baptist Church in Findlay.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, June 6, 2024, and 9 a.m. Friday, June 7, 2024, until the time of Martha's funeral at 10 a.m., all at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. Pastor Ben Jennings will officiate. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Alzheimer's Association, 200 E. High Street, Lima, Ohio, 45801.
