Martha Ellcessor Obituary
Martha Jane Ellcessor, 79, of Jenera, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023, at her residence.
She was born July 18, 1943, in Hardin County, to Robert and Martha (Wingate) Goslee. Jane married Larry A. Ellcessor on April 23, 1965, and he preceded her in death March 26, 2016.
Jane is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Wally) Hamilton of Findlay, Jill (Barry) Beavers of Forest, and Shay Ellcessor of Mt. Blanchard; grandchildren, Nathan Hamilton, Daniel Ellcessor, Andrew Ramirez, Casey (Kalee) Beavers, and Skylar Garza-Ellcessor; great-grandchild, Maisey Beavers; sisters, Joyce Hanson of Minnesota and Judy Hogue of Kenton; and special friends, Linda Pifer and Marlene Mitsch.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Vicki Ramirez; great-grandchild, Quentin Ellcessor; and brothers, Joe Goslee and Jim Goslee.
Jane was a homemaker and worked as a cleaning lady for the Hardin County Council on Aging. She enjoyed sewing, coloring, walking, shopping, and collecting angels. She volunteered at Arlington Nursing Home. Jane enjoyed spending time with her family. She fought a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer for almost two years. The family would like to thank all the caregivers associated with Bridge Hospice who help in anyway during Jane's final days.
Jane's funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 8, 2023, at Clark Shields Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Searfoss officiating. Interment will follow at Patterson Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, Autism Research Institute, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or Bridge Hospice.

Jane was my my "baby" sister, she being the baby of the family. She had a wonderful family, all will miss her. She was "Always busy & ready to help anyone! Even though We lived miles apart we kept in touch and we were close. I will miss her calls because she always had something interesting to say. My best to her beautiful girls & grandchildren.
