Martha Briggs Obituary
Martha A. Briggs, 92, of Findlay, passed away Friday, July 19, 2024, at Bridge Hospice Care Center.
She was born May 12, 1932, in Findlay, the daughter of Harry and Hazel (Foard) Dindal. She married Harry Briggs on July 30, 1951, and he preceded her in death Dec. 31, 2021.
Martha's survivors include her daughters, Jane Briggs and Kim (Lance) Brandeberry, both of Findlay; daughter-in-law, Susan Briggs of Findlay; grandchildren, Nathan Rooney, Justin Rooney, Joshua Brandeberry, Amanda Pham, Katie Gould, Eli Gould, Jack Gould, and Beth Downing; and great-grandchildren, Gabriel and Oliver Downing, Diego and Tomas Rooney, Collin and Emma Pham, and Jared, Piper, and Graham Brandeberry.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Roger Briggs; grandson, Andrew Briggs; four brothers; and three sisters.
Martha was a homemaker and enjoyed playing Bingo and baking. She was formerly employed at Ohio Bell and Chatelans Plastic, both of Findlay.
Martha's graveside service will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Maple Grove Cemetery, Findlay.
Memorial contributions may be directed towards Phelan-McDermid Syndrome Foundation, 8 Sorrento Dr., Osprey, Florida, 34229.
